Bombay Gifting ("we", "us") operates the Bombay Gifting mobile app and services, which curate and deliver personalised gift boxes. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
We do not collect your location, and we do not record audio — the voice input uses your device's on-device speech-to-text, so only the resulting text is sent to us. We do not store card or payment details; those are handled directly by our payment provider.
We share data only with providers who process it on our behalf to run the service — we do not sell your data. These include:
Your gift descriptions are sent to AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) to understand the recipient and recommend products. We send only the text needed to curate the box.
We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time at api.bg.pixelerp.ai/delete-account; we will permanently delete it within 7 days, except where we must retain records (e.g. completed-order or tax records) by law.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us or using the deletion link above.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on secured cloud infrastructure with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Bombay Gifting is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy; we will post the new effective date here and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
